Periodic Table of the Elements 3 A photograph of most elements as well as an occasional cartoon. This site will also read some text to you and help you pronounce the name.
Click on the uses section. (shown by the orange arrow above). A number of images show up. Click on one of them (be sure you and the person at your table pick different ones.). In your journal record the title of one use of genetic engineering and give examples of that use .
Click on Issues (next to uses). An image of a newspaper shows up. Mouse across it and you'll see how different sections are links. Again choose a different section than the person at your table and click on it.
In your journal write down the title of the section you chose. Read the article. Briefly summarize the content of the article. (you may make it in list form).
Click on Features (near the top right). In the links that show up choose one and click on the "more" button. In your journal write down the title of that feature. Then write a brief explanation of how genetic engineering is being used in that feature.
Choose another feature item and follow the directions in number 3.
After finishing 1-4, continue to explore other options in the uses, issues, ge in-depth, and features sections. Write down brief information about each one that you visit.

very good comparisons of energy types (go to the web site, after the "movie", choose the english version, then choose Fossil Fuels and Traditional Energy )
better seasonsThis one is better because the earth can't go around the sun really fast or else time would be going really fast and the seasons would be going too fast so we picked this one! Plus it has good information at each stopping point! Chelsea, Elise
Film with explanationsI like this one the most because it is very clear and easy to follow. It shows you exactly what happens on the solstices and equinoxes. It is also labeled well. The information is just as good if not better than all the others too! Lachlan
What Causes the Seasons This season link is by far, the best one. It is a very simple video that explains the information well. It also has a catchy design to it, so it is entertaining to watch! Nenah.
Fronts: In your journal make notes about your observations from each of the "Front" links below. Include things like shapes of fronts, cloud types, elevation of the front, and anything else you notice.
